Growing like a weed!

We went for Stasa's 6 week Well Baby check-up today. She weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs 8 oz and is now 22 inches long. She's in the 50th percentile for her weight and height and the 75th percentile for her head. She's grown 3 inches since she was born! Although I should explain that since her birth height was 20 1/2 inches. Her coned head accounted for 1 1/2 inches, so by the time we went to the doctor when she was 3 days old, she was down to 19 inches.

Stasa also got a shot today - lucky for us it was a 5 in 1 - Polio, another round of Hep B and DTAP (Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis). She cried for awhile, but calmed down once I got her dressed and fed. We had to hang around the office for 20 minutes after the shot so the nurse could monitor her. We go back in 2 weeks for her 2 month visit (and 2 more shots).
