Let me introduce our daughter, Anastasia Lee Merkel. She was born at 7:07 pm at 6 lbs 14 oz and 20 1/2" long. We are completely in love with her and can not believe she's here. I'll post the full birth story later.
Hi Carrie, A 9 on a scale of 10 (worst pain you've ever felt?). That sounds awful. I know for a fact that if it had been me Jason would have puked--beauty of birth be damned! Thanks so much for sharing this with me. I need to learn this stuff! Books don't tell you the nitty gritties! I also love the pictures, and the link to Stella's blog :).
