Weekend arts and crafts

After our trip to VA Tech for Peter's graduation, we decided to spend the rest of our weekend lounging around the house, which meant lots of playtime with Stasa. Arts and crafts are quickly becoming one of her favorite things to do and it's hard to say no when she brings us the Play-Doh and aks "peeease?" So we put on some music and cleared the coffee table to make creations.





And of course she had to taste it - and then decided it wasn't very good.



We only let her play with one color at a time and she's gotten really good about cleaning up before getting a new color out.









After her nap on Sunday she wanted to draw pictures on her chalkboard while Tom made dinner. Stasa insists that we draw trees for her to color. She tries to draw her own, but realizes they aren't the same. 






Then she was just being a little cutie and hamming it up.
