Christmas Eve

We spent the majority of the day listening to Christmas carols and baking. Stasa, of course, helped. In the beginning we set her up with a bucket of water and paintbrush to "paint" the dishwasher. 






And then she dragged a chair in to help Tom mix the dough for the pie crust. Daddy showed her how to pour in the ingredients...



...she caught on pretty quick.



Then we put her to work washing some dishes (really she was just playing in soapy water).



And since she was already all wet, we went ahead and had early bathtime. After Stas was all clean and dressed, we played for a bit and read and then it was naptime.
