Stasa's thisclose to rolling from her belly to her back. She kicks and kicks and pushes with her arm and gets halfway and then gets frustrated. We're going to keep putting her on her tummy to give her more opportunities to roll. She tries the same thing when she's on her back - she can get on to her side, but no further. She feels the pressure to perform now that her friends Henry and Audrey have rolled over.
I tried getting a picture of her trying today, but she got upset before I could grab my camera. I think I'll try video next time.

LuLu's photo shoot
Stasa and I went to Lesli's early on Saturday to snap some pictures of her daughter, LuLu. Here are some of my favorites from LuLu's photo shoot.

Playing outside
The B.I.G. G.T.G.
We had a great time at Lesli's yesterday for our big get together. Unfortunately, Amy and Henry didn't make it, but we'll see them at the next one! The ladies all made some amazing food - veggie lasagna, zuchini bread, whoopie pies and corn and black bean salsa. Of course, we also had great wine and I brought some of Tom's pumpkin porter. Quite the relaxing day. Here are some pictures with all of the babies in their new co-ed t-shirts.

More projects!
I've been busy working on a couple of projects lately. I LOVE my sewing machine and now I'm researching embroidery machines, too.
Here's the summer sleep sack that I made for Stasa out of muslin. It's kind of like a straight jacket for babies.
And here's my prototype for Stasa's christening gown. I'll make the real one out of my wedding dress and will use pearl buttons. What do you think? Pretty cute, right?

14 weeks old
Happy 14 weeks, little chunker! I weighed her the other day and the scale looked like it said 15 pounds, but I refuse to believe that she weighs that much already. She is IN LOVE with her hands and spends a good amount of the day chewing and sucking on them. Too bad half of the time she chokes herself because she tries sticking both in at the same time.
She seems to really like being at Geraldine's house during the day. She's always really happy and alert on the ride home and plays with us until her bathtime. She can no longer be trusted to sit on the couch by herself since she now launches forward and rolls onto her face.
She's so cute in the mornings - all smiles and coos. She hangs out in her Bumbo on the kitchen floor while we pack our lunches and get her stuff together. She just sits there and smiles as we walk by her. So stinking cute.
She refused to look normal for the camera - every time I focused on her, she made a weirdo face, like this:
She knows she's cool (Nash and Mota - can you read what the shirt says?)
She loves hanging out in her jumperoo when we get home
Check out the 2nd chin and the arm dimples. It's her milk fat!
