Happy Friday!

Peter comes home today and will get to meet Stasa for the first time tomorrow! Aunt Peggy and I are going to a consignment sale tomorrow morning and I'm hoping to get some good baby stuff.

Today Stasa and I are off to Rockville to shoot some pictures of Helen and Landon. Stasa seems to be in a good mood so my fingers are crossed that she stays that way today.

9 weeks old

Stasa is 9 weeks old today! She weighed in at 10 pounds 8 ounces at her 2 month appointment! The doctor says she right on track and doing great. Our big girl is really alert now-a-days and will happily sit for 30 minute stretches, entertaining herself. She's smiling a lot now and chatting up a storm with her little coos and grunts. I can't believe I have to go back to work in 3 short weeks. Luckily my manager knows how reluctant I am to leave her and is letting me ease back into the office. Ultimately I plan to work one day a week from home and hopefully Tom can do the same at some point. I'm really going to miss seeing her cute face all day, but coming home to her each evening will really help me get through each day. For now I'm just going to soak up as much of her as I can.

Stasa on display

Stasa and I are going to my office today for another visit. Everyone on my team will be in the office for our biannual Team Day meeting. I convinced another woman I work with to bring her new baby in, too. I tried to get all of the new moms (there are 3 of us) to bring their babies in, but I don't think I was successful.

Stasa's napping right now and will hopefully stay asleep until it's time to go. Keep your fingers crossed for good behavior - she's so unpredictable these days.

Okay, I'm going in. So far, so good. No poop on the outer clothes.

Time to flip her over. Yay! No poop escaped the diaper!

Ah, fresh diaper.

"Bye, bye poopy diaper. Hello, clean butt!"
